Terms of Service

• Owner agrees they are the legal owner of the dog(s) stated. Owner assumes all risks, dangers, and injuries to/ from my dog(s). Owner understands that Weenie Resort & Day Spa will not knowingly put any dog in harms way and they are always under full supervision and top notch care. We will always provide full disclosure on any situation that arises. See Medical Release form for more information.          

 

• Owner agrees to pay the specified rate for care at time of check-in. Weenie Resort & Day Spa reserves the right to refuse any dog(s) and/or dismiss any dog(s) that does not meet all required health or temperament standards. In the event you are unable to pick up your dog on the specified day/time, Owner agrees to the added expenses accrued. Any medical care (Emergency or Non-Emergency) that was administered will be an added accrued expense, See the medical release form for more information. All outstanding expenses must be paid at time of Check-out or Weenie Resort & Day Spa reserves the right to hold the dog(s) in our possession until expenses are paid with accruing extra fees for extended stay. If Owner refuses to pay with in 7 days of the original check-out date, they relinquish rights to the dog(s) and Weenie Resort & Day Spa will have no choice but to proceed with the “Abandoned Pet Procedure”. No Refunds or Transfers are provided at anytime.

• ​Owner is required to provide a recent copy of the most recent vaccination records to Weenie Resort & Day Spa upon check-in. Owner also understands that no vaccine offers 100% protection from diseases. Ex: Kennel cough is still possible even if the dog received a Bordetella vaccine. Owner and a representative of Weenie Resort & Day Spa agree the dog(s) appears in good health at time of check-in.         

        The required vaccines are as follows:
                -Rabies, Bordetella, Distemper (DHPP), 
                  (Leptospirosis is not recommended for Dachshunds)
                 -Current on Heartworm, Parasite, Flea & Tick Preventions.
                 -All dogs must be spayed/ neutered just passed 1 year old

• Owner gives permission for photos/videos of their dog(s) to be taken by Weenie Resort & Day Spa for use in advertising, promotions, webpage and social media. We love taking pictures of happy pups.  We are always happy to send pictures/videos to you for your comfort and piece-of-mind at no additional rates. Weenie Resort & Day Spa agrees not to sell or distribute any photos/videos to third parties. This includes our Cameras that are set up in our kennel for 24/7 viewing.

• Dogs that are here for Day Spa (Daycare) activities are to be dropped off at 8am and picked up no later than 6pm.  If you are late for check-out a $10 late fee will apply for each hour you are late. There are no pick-ups after 9pm. If you can not pick up by 9pm, you accrue and night charge of $35 in addition to the daily Day Spa fee.

• Boarding fees are based on a 24 hour day service. Holiday care is accepted upon substantial notice.  Holidays include: New Years, Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas eve, and Christmas. If you need Holiday care, schedule ASAP, spots will fill up quick. A deposit is required for Holiday care.           

 

• When caring for an Elderly dog or dogs with a Weakened Immune System and puppies between 6 months of age and 1 year, are considered “Special needs” and will have additional costs.  Dogs with these condition are at a higher risk of stress-related conditions such as diarrhea and weakened immune systems.  It is Weenie Resort & Day Spa’s job to give top notch comfort and less stress as possible. If an Elderly dog should pass away while in our care, Weenie Resort & Day Spa will transport the dog to the closest veterinarians office to be held for your return.  Owner waives any claim for injury or illness or death to Weenie Resort & Day Spa while in our care.     

 

• Owner and Weenie Resort & Day Spa acknowledge that a dog may act differently in a boarding/ Daycare setting, and with people they don’t know. They can experience aggressive or destructive behavior that can result in injury or  ingestion of foreign objects. Weenie Resort & Day Spa is trained in observation of such behaviors.  Owner agrees to let Weenie Resort & Day Spa take action as necessary and all costs will be responsibility of the Owner. Weenie Resort & Day Spa can not be held responsible for items brought for your pet that have been destroyed. These items could be part of their destructive acts. Dogs that are “superstars” in their Daycare activities will be provided with special treats at no additional charge (with the permission of the Owner).  All Treat options are 100% all natural with no corn, no wheat, no soy and no added preservatives.  We love to praise good behavior.        

 

• Scheduling must be made in a 24 hour advance notice for all stays being Day Spa or all Boarding options.  We will need significant notice for Holiday care. Cancelations need to be given ASAP. No Shows or less than 24 hour notice for cancelation could lead to refusal of care at a later date. No Exceptions.  This is to be sure we have Spaces available.

• If medication is required for your dog(s) it will need to be in its original packaging or with a prescription label by a certified veterinarian.  All medication needs to be listed on the “Tell us about your dog” form. Weenie Resort & Day Spa can not be held responsible for mislabeled or incorrect instructions.
